Senryus 11 and 12

#-11
Attic floorboards creak
Something seeks a memory
Sleep and leave it be

#-12
I'm sure there are two
Another cat sneaked inside
My cat helps it hide

Honestly, Gene, I't not the comments I have to keep up with, it's the replies.. LOL,, It seems as if nowadays, poets are commenting our comments, instead of our poems.. I try my best, and I stay away from the new poem list.. LOL, if not I am in trouble...hehehhe

HEy, this is the first time I read your reply to me (I don't ever see replies in this way unless by accident). We had a seal point when I was a kid. It was a great cat. My current cat, she peed on the kitchen floor today. I am so upset with her. She does that kind of stuff from time to time and I have no clue WHY!!!

Has their been anything in the home to change her daily routine? Keep box at least half full or more.. They sense our emotions...and pick up vibes outside from far outside.. Is She your only cat? My first instinct is always " call the Vet, Andrea. Good luck, Gene.

Hi Linda...and thank you so very much. I've been copying poems from "another site" to keep from losing them...and hopefully will be through, soon...then have time to read yours and others poems. I'm way behind...but no problem. ...Your fan and friend.....Gene.

Oh, I love interesting haiku like these, thinking outside the box. My recent poem In the Midnight Hour is about my black cat!! Glad to know you have a cat. It shows you are a smart guy!

Hi, Andrea.....He's a male Seal Point Siamese. He's 7 yrs old and weighs 16 lbs. (all muscle). We both have each others habits in sync and share our space beautifully together. It's amazing how he respects "my space...and I do the same for him. There's a bond and trust between us that can't be rendered in words. We're true best friends. I'll read "Midnight Hour". Thanks so much for your note....YF...Gene.
