Senior Trip To Fold With Honor

What was brewing? 
A health care debate done for fooling
What bill?
Who has the medical skill?
Up there on the Hill
Are they still talking about the prescription pill? 
Then the legal eagles read the will 
Where I am going with this? 
Noticing people not being able to give a good bye kiss 
While finishing the two due lists?  
Shaking opinionated political fists 
A couple naturally died 
Rumored siblings lied 
In the financial plan 
For the clan 
Property ownership discussed 
About what was in the family trust 
Everything happened real quickly 
An invisible situation arguably tricky 
Golden oldies went on a traveling trip
Joking about a television show script 
Upon return 
There was concern 
But nobody expected to fill the urns 
As the lawyer stepped in 
To tell them what they did win 
Barring the question “where have you been?” 
All together 
To read the statement letter 
A star 
Wanting the car 
And the spouse 
Wanting representation in the house 
Furniture which gave the departed glee
Grandchildren apartment will benefit if they have a degree  
This was the thought 
Before life’s end when they got caught 
Proceedings started 
Valuables to be carted 
Storage bin standing by
While tissues passed with a cry 
Little Jimmy goes to the ice box 
Looking for grandma’s snacks like a fox 
But the fridge was bare 
Nothing to share 
Except a six pack 
Planted the night when death attacked 
“As I open and close this reading 
During this short meeting 
There will be no repeating 
We took most of our stuff with us 
When boarding the eternal touring bus 
What is left behind?  
We hope won’t be declined 
Since we gave you the birthing start 
Take our parting gift to heart” 
Suddenly Little Jimmy appeared 
Seeing everyone in tears
“This is a joke,” 
His father spoke 
“Those two left one thing 
I really hope they enjoyed the final fling” 
Mommy stated looking at her ring  
Attorney continued knowing they didn’t care 
About the sudden scare 
“Children there is nothing to fear 
Since we are no longer here
For what we want you to remember  
Christmas last December 
Gift wrapped in festive tidings 
Relaxing pleasure was the finding
Vacation on a cruise 
Nothing to lose 
Off course it was a trick 
We got sick 
Now to honor our cause 
Using your sanitized dirty paws 
Enjoy what called us to God’s table 
A Mexican alcohol label 
Fetch it dear 
You know the chilled Corona beer” 
Little Jimmy stood there treat in hand 
And the youngest took a stand 
“Any takers from the cheer under the sun 
Maybe Granny and Gramps wants us to have a little fun. 
They are up in the sky 
No longer living a lie 
Let’s pass this around 
And drink a round 
How does that sound?!” 
Each took a can 
Toasting as a loving fam 
No material objects could compare 
Just a simple tribute to a romantic pair
