Send Me To Sleep For Pd

Close your eyes
But don't count sheep...
Run instead through a field
of yellow daffodils,
Roll down grassy emerald hills.
Let your dreams rest in the sun and
When day is done -
Sing a song to the stars, then
Do one thousand cart wheels on
The red planet Mars.

Sip peppermint milkshakes
Through chocolate straws between
happy sighs.
Waltz in dreamland to lullabies,
While the sandman sprinkles star dust
On the lids of your closed eyes.
Slumber now on pillows of lace
While angels soothe your brow and
Kiss your sweet face.

Shhhh!
Rest now
Let go of the cares of the day
Time to sleep!

La  La  La  La  La  La  La!
Shhhh!

(the La's are to the tune "When At Night I Go To Sleep")
Tomorrow is a brand new day!
