Send In the Dogs

05 September 2015 6:30 AM

Early morning start to my day
The dogs have jumped onto my bed to play

Goofy and rested and full of energy
Wrestling and growling what a site to see

The joy in their eyes like a child's smile
Rolling and tumbling making me forget for awhile

I could be annoyed because I did not want to get up
But I see it as God tickling his child through these pups

I dreamed of my eldest child last night
I played with her and she giggled in delight

God must have known that I would awake and feel alone
So he sent in the pups to make me laugh and know that I am not alone
