Semper Fi Or For Maureen Mcgreavy

Intended so Richard. Maureen seems to have a witty funny personality. Like some one that you'd like to meet.

I have to admit, before I became vegetarian, I used to trap and hunt. Always ate what I shot, but walking the edge of a local farmer's corn line always brought out in a bolting flash, mourning doves, and yes I shot plenty; but then delved into my own personal philosophy.

...started seriously birding when I got my 1st dog, always a bit of a fancier. Became a crazy bird lady. Down to two old doves. I'd like a big fancy pigeon next. Not too fancy. There's some freaky ones.

I went to uni for art, but dropped out. Had a few shows. Haven't painted in a couple of years. Zany dog portrait commission half done but planning a sculpture, maybe even an urn before I can get back to the painting. Pair of mini schnauzer twins, one pint size runt.

I'm happy to read you rid yourself of that addiction Maureen. Wow Maureen seems you have a more then interesting past. Delve deeper. I've never gone to a single school reunion. No one knew me, other then in band. After school I was up in the woods hanging out and bird watching. Future ornothologist I thought, but then I ended up English Lit and music; go figure lol.

I hope so Awtry. Maureen was the first person to comment on my poetry seven months or so ago, and she has been supportive and informative helping me. I also believe that her own poetry is simple; which makes it simply amazing. We each have our own way of how we write, so she shouldn't just throw caution to the wind; but I hang on every one of her words... and then wait for more. Thank you Awtry.
