Self-Love Is the Best Kind of Love
To you i may be nothing, to you i am not be beautiful
enough, you may look at me and the disgusted by
what i wear, how i walk or how much i weigh,
but believe me when i say, i love being me
I may not have what you have, but trust me when
i say you don’t have what i have
thinking trying to find a reason why you would think i
want what you have, when i have what you don’t.
You may have lot of people wishing to be you,
but believe me, i am not on your list,
I love me, you may look down on me, and what i stand for
or for what i believe in but i still love me
fame and fortune is all good, when you have earned it,
i choose to have my own, i refuse to be a shadow, I
will rise and i will conqueror, i will be me, my
own person, what you can only wish you can be, your own
self.
I love me, you may choose not to like me,
that is your choice, you may choose to humiliate me,
that is your choice, but remember, i am me, that can not
be changed
Call me names, ridicule me, but i will still be me,
if looking down on me makes you happy
then you should enjoy it.
But at the end look in the mirror and check if you are
happy, see if you love yourself.
For now i will love me for me and for you, since
that is not on you agenda.
