Self Searching

I find myself
wondering about many
things in me, not really
understanding, some things
I cannot see.

I wish to see
them clearly, the things
that lead the way, but darkness
always shows up, blanketing
each new day.

When I try to
understand them, the clouds
then fill my mind, leaving the
deeper person even harder
then to find.

I will keep on
seeking out the person
there inside. For one day soon,
he will be seen, as he
can’t always hide.
