Self Destruction

Self destruction
my one true enemy
stands before me
bold & blatently

Open warfare
on this battle ground
of me
fighting against my morals
and all humanity.

an open bottle on the floor
one pill to ease the pain
I begin to self destruct
I see and know
I live my life in vain.

I continue on this path
spinning downwardly
self destruction
the road to nowhere
I fall willingly

A broken promise
A crocodile tear
leaving me hopeless
quietly in fear.
