Seemingly No Reason

I don't care about
the so called grand design
once again I'll shout
screw your subtle sign!
      and I don't give a ____
about the changing of the season
      nor how the pieces fit
      I just want a reason!
a reason for such pain
and for this lack of mercy
this design is insane
oh, here comes the controversy
        maybe I'm dysfunctional
        living in distortions
        maybe I'm too emotional
but I'm tired of life's contortions
can't even catch my breath
before another flood comes my way
damn it, life, I'm sick to death
of the awful games you play!

Sometimes life gives us more than we can chew, but don't worry Christy, it's definitely gonna be alright. Wishing your mum a quick recovery.

Sorry your world seems to be underwater right now. Life at times is not fair but just do your best Christy and be strong. You can lean on some of us here if you need. Sending good thoughts your way.

Thanks, Chris. I appreciate it. Just found out my mom has cancer so things are really bad right now. I'm trying to be strong though

I understand Christy. The floods of bad things can be so hard and ongoing sometimes. Prayers for you. Take care.
