The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Seeking the Spirit

Might we learn to harbor good thought in our mind
Might our voice to others be gentle and kind

Will we reach out to those we see are in need
Will our joys be hampered by our own greed

Allow focus to be on material things of this world
Allow pain to consume if hurting words are hurled

Do we seek to understand our own hearts desire
Do we allow thought to idle in the deceivers mire

Are we seeking the truth from deep within
Are we overcome by the regret from our old sin

Can we put those things of the past behind
Can we look to the future in God's love be entwined

Seek to do better with each blessed new day
Seek understanding so in God's grace we'll stay
