Seeking Solace

Dear Lord I’m spending time alone
Not used to being on my own.
My days are dark, devoid of touch.
I’m missing family so much.

Please be with me and hold my hand.
I know that you will understand
My need to know Your saving grace
When tears start flowing down my face.

But with Your touch I know that I
Will heal and, like a butterfly
Rising up with wings unfurled,
Will add my beauty to this world.

This is incredibly beautiful. So inspiring. And we should all emulate in this prayer ~~

Amen Pam. People are always wondering why are we here? I think our mission here is to leave this world a little better than we found it. Perhaps even in the smallest way. Like simply being kind. Lovely little prayer:)

Thank you Daniel. Yes, I agree, and the smallest thing can be a huge kindness to others.
