Seeking Serenity By a Lovely Oak

As I take stroll in the meadow. I seek serenity by a lovely oak tree . It is by far my most cherished place. I love the sun shining on my face. When I’m alone basking in nature I’m free. The fresh air invigorates all my senses. All my worries and doubts seems to vanish. I love the stillness that I find there. And I don't dwell on the chaos everywhere. I love the serenity that stems from this lovely rhymed poem Alexis, I see its for another contest, good luck on that. I believe a lot of therapeutic value can be got from trees. Good one......Maria xx

Wonderful, Alexis. I read someone else writing a poem on serenity recently. I think they also included a tree. Trees are great symbols of serenity.
