Seeking Redemption
Perished dreams six feet deep
Moonlight torment, spirit weeps
Dead tears shed, petrified
Vision is no longer starry-eyed.
Blue, grey shadow softly sighs
Dead of night~ morbid sky
Gravestones dominate terrain
Alive with humanity's endless pain.
Elaborate place of ancient dead
Loving tributes seldom read
Mausoleum~lonely grave
Stagnant state distinct malaise
Ancient whisper speaks of sorrow
Palpable sadness no tomorrow
Grey shadow gone soul does fly
Redemption found final goodbye.
