Seeking Black

I walk the corridors of the nefarious night Where warring angels guard the gilded gates Thus demons arise with their fallacious flight Do I enter beyond the vanquishable void? For which I seek diminished and destroyed My heart enslaved as mind divided dominates The guardians give permission to eagerly encroach As my soul separates within the abdominous abyss The darkness descends upon a cadaverous coach Infinity stands before me like a denunciative dream The blackness fills the sanctimonious silent stream For I have been betrayed by the Judas killer kiss. ...before we see the true light we shall experience the real dark... Dec.24.2018 Rhyme Time 7- Deep and Dark Sponsored by: Lu Loo ...I know this verse is a little dark for this time of the season...but hey she asked for deep and dark lol... (((((HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! MY DEAR FRIENDS...MERRY CHRISTMAS))))) Placed 1'st...Thank You

Rhyme-time poetry pastime! Darkness is relative: What if this great write had never seen the 'light of day?' … Belated congrats on your win in the contest! ~ Gershon

Even though your muse likes to linger in the darkness, follow a shadow. I love that you can write about anything and everything. Your thoughts shine my dear friend. Congratulations on this win. Love and seeking the Light. :) Brandy

Definitely dark, but also well penned with great alliteration and powerful imagery. Especially admire the "sanctimonious silent stream." Best wishes in Lu's contest, WW. And Merry Christmas! Hugs, Carolyn

It seems as though darkness is the wind beneath those Warrior Wings of yours. (Just saying) As you certainly know how to caress such a moment. Don't stay in the depth too long, my friend. Lol. Gotta breathe sometime. Love with some darkness. :) Brandy

Dark or not, it is well written! I for one, enjoy creativity and that’s what poetry is about. For certainly the Lord entered that dark place for us so we can have eternal light through Him and in Him! Be blessed!
