Seeking
I wandered
the yellowed pages
of prayer
seeking solace
in cold words
devoid of love
unable to become
as they
Silent prayer revealed
an open book’s
unsullied pages
beckoning my soul
to write
upon each passing moment
warm words
of prayerful seeking
