Seek Shelter
My residence has never seen any demolition.
Nor had I to shelter under a place of obstruction.
It's my extirpated inner self that I'm fleeing from.
And seeking a refuge where faith is unshakably firm
Natural calamities have little to do with me.
But, human-induced disasters, herein I am not free.
I bear nature’s conditions and extreme temperatures.
But, unable to adjust to the moral trespassers.
I feel someone is offering spiritual shelter.
Till I find such a divine one, my heart is in swelter.
Black storm clouds that gather over the terrain of my mind
Should be delinked and all affinities should be aligned.
Though escape from realities, once in a while, might sooth
Could one evade kith and kin and avoid day-to-day truth?
Endorsing and enhancing humanitarianism
Could, here on earth, helm one towards libertarianism?
Yet, the ultimate shelter for all living entities
The Supreme Soul, who surpasses earthly identities
Unto Him is the tireless striving of my shield about
In his shelter, I'll rest free from every heart-hounding doubt.
