Seek Inner Calm

Troubled world
Shaken to the core
Shivers in tremors
Our inner calm implores.

Troubled heart
Shaken to the soul
Shivers in haggard
Our fear a deadly foe.

Troubled lives
Shaken to their root
Shivers in fault lines
Our faux pas to undo.

Troubled world
Shaken by one and all
Shivers in honor
Our tears have absolved.

After a very super weekend I am back at the soup reading. I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Caroline. There are so many diverse writers here and I am so happy I am able to read most of them. Have a wonderful week and may you find what you are looking for in life and in your writing. Love, Carol
