Seek

I need so badly, what makes me sick
What breaks me down
What makes me weak
I seek so desperately, what doesn’t exist
What I don’t’ deserve
What I’ll never reach
And yet
I can’t bear to think
Of life without this silly thing
That makes feel
Like I’m complete
But love, it seems,
I’ll never see

This is so wonderfully written and yet so sad. It starts out leading one to think that the subject has an addiction that can not be appeased and ends with the one thing that we all truly need. I love it... adding to my favs. It touched my soul. Thanks for sharing. Smiles from Lolita
