My Lord,

Give us the will
To overcome our heartless indifference for
Those who suffer 

So as 

Able us to be,
In the ever-stretching desert of apathy, your  
Seed of concern to sow!

Hi Demetrios! Yes, we both know that there's a lot of this and that around, and suffering and much pain is sadly one of them and always been. We live for most part in a very sad world filled of so much selfishness and materialism. Too much of it that so many discard true love for those.Your poem show so much caring, my dear friend.
