Seed

A seed planted in the ground, waiting for the sun in order to grow.
Some how the light misses it, or never seems to show.
Roots and leaves yearning to stretch and make themselves known.
A seed thats never really grown.
In the darkened shade, earth cracked and dry.
A seed left to ponder, left to wonder why.
