See the World Through Darkened Light

Fading light far out west
Busy heads soon laid to rest

An inky black creeps on in
People disappear within

The sound of silence fills the air
Calls from owls and creatures fair

Children of light gone away
Hiding with the fading day

Darkened herald soon resounds
Darkness fills the land around

Silent cars now line the street
Intrepid souls the last to meet

The Silver Queen now rules the sky
Whispy clouds parade on by

Streelights stand guard the way
For the souls the few the brave

Venture out into the night
See the world through darnkened light

As fading light far out west
Now the sun is laid to rest
