See the Dawn

It's a special, holy time as I watch the sky.
Gradually the black fades into smokey salmon and birds fly!
I look forward to Today.
The breezes through windows play,
Chasing around the house
Like cat and mouse!
Also, like our family did, sliding
Hilariously, shouting and hiding.
Matters not the early time.
To watch anytime is fine.
As we are a global family,
My prayers are needed readily
Maybe 24x7 hours of light?
It's Jesus who gives us sight;
He's my Dawn
And protects us like a doe over her fawn.
So, when so slowly breaks the light,
I'm excited to get God's might.

Beautiful rhyme at Dawn time, Helen. I feel its holiness and anticipation & the “globalness” you’ve inserted. Christmas Blessings to you & yours. X.
