See As You and Me

I have almost gone to ground
Discontent, with sound
The winter’s melody, reverb
Returning here again
See as you, I must have seen before
As many times I hear
And yet I yearn, for more

But why not see as me?
Circumvent, with passion lost
Take off the mask, the fret
See as I, you must have seen before
When you did yearn for more
You’re thumping heart, the bliss
Dissipate, just like the morning mist!

Hi David! Sounds of entreatment. Great metaphoric assembly whispered upon "The winter's melody". You are a poetical darling! Wishing you the best!! Mikki

When the passion is gone, we do feel like we have "gone to ground." I sometimes envy those whose hearts are thumping with bliss. Nicely done, David, and it's great to see you posting again. Was wondering where you'd been and hoping you were okay. Love, Carolyn

Yes, it's mysterious as Nette says. But I think I get it. I hope I got it! But I won't make a fool of myself and tell you what I am thinking.(in case I am wrong) haha. Anyway, I really liked the last part with the dissipating mist and thumping heart. Great imagery. LUv, Andrea
