Seduced by Dawn
He seduced her mind slowly,
like the sun welcomes day—
little by little,
her darkness fell away.
Drifting ever closer,
he climbed within her mind;
intimate, beautiful words—
she left the familiar behind.
Passionate secret moments
she knew would come to an end,
feeling time approaching,
undeniable,
unable to defend.
He had etched his way into her bones;
she wasn’t ready for this night.
They agreed to put the passion to rest,
a summer evening, with winter’s bite.
