Secret To a Happy Life

Secret To A Happy Life.
.
Some of the poorest people I have known
May have little and not even a descent home
But are wealthy in so many different ways
And know the real secrets to to happiness
Forgotten or ignored so much today.
.
They are not blinded or greedy
Although they maybe needy
They enjoy the simple things in life
That money cannot buy
.
They make do and mend
Do not have all the troubles
And materialism
That life sometimes sends
Focusing on what they have got
And not always
On what they haven’t got
.
A simple life brings many blessings
Without the complications
And the stressing
.
The rich in their ivory towers
May have wealth and power
But it doesn’t always make them happy
.
What matters is other people and getting on
Before they expire and are gone
.
Little expectation and gratitude
The poorest may possess
A love for God too
The secret to life and happiness.
