Secret Keepers
Shhh...the sentinels
whisper among themselves, there’s
a human coming...
Do not give away
any secrets to them, they
cannot keep secrets.
Remember what we
learned from old grandfather oak
humans will gossip.
Gaia trusts us all
never divulge her secrets
to human species.
We are trees and we
harbor religiously all
knowledge entrusted.
