Notes About The Poem

There are things that may never come to light in this world, but He knows the secret faults, however deeply hidden; but just like Christ knows all and nothing is ever hidden from Him, whatever the sin or shame, the power of His blood cleanses us from all sins.

His mercy endures forever. And if He can forgive; who are we not to, whether the secrets becomes known or not... so I forgive.

Secret Faults

SECRET FAULTS

I've  lived my life with great conviction,
The straight and narrow at times hard to see,
Many times I've tripped and even stumbled,
Only God to rescue me.

The guilt for failures cast me asunder,
My cross to bear in great company, 
My accusers, ones I bore to love, 
As strangers, forsaking me.

He is the God of secret faults, 
From secret faults He'll set you free.
For there is never anything hidden, 
No darkness that He can’t see.

The right that I had to give up for the wrong,
Protecting wills against my own, 
Would to God I reaped the mercy,
for the mercy that I had sown.

But I will dare to lift my face to heaven,
Boldly stand before the throne.
And lo, One standing there before me,
Sins that were mine, to Him now belonged.

Has taught me well, to escape a hell,
I’ve  chosen forgiveness for all the years,
Secret faults, all washed away and gone,
For He’s wiped away all my tears.
