Secret Admire

i occasionally see you around
and i really like your style
every time i see you
it always makes me smile
i get little butterflies
and i dont know why
we've never really talked
all we do is say hi
i dont know if your taken
or how old you are
im way too shy to ask
so i just watch you from afar
i know i shouldnt be doing this
ive never done anything like this before
but you seem so interesting
and i would love to know more
but until i get the courage
to finally talk to you
writing you this poem
is the best that i can do
so ill sit back in silence
with this feeling that wont go away
and hopefully i can find the strength
to tell you who i am someday
