Second Thoughts
Why we always look away
From what our eyes desire to see?
Then we think
‘I should have…’
We look back
And we can’t see
It walked away -
We let it be
Why it always walks away
When we want to give a try?
We look back every day
And we pray for one last stand
Then we think back in regret
‘Why i hadn’t…’
Each time we cry
One day we will forget-
The day when we die
