Second Light

There's nothing to take this away
The feelings of loss in a state of decay
The tears unseen are running out of time
A state of meant to be's in a rhythm of decline
Define the link that brings us here
Give me a path away from fear
To never feel these receeding lines
The memories fade where stars align
It's fate that brings this wave of dark
The price we paid has left its mark
Just give me some kind of release
Let's fade tonight in a lonely summer breeze
Just you and I outside these lines tonight
We don't have to rise above this lowly height
We're nothing but a dream tonight
Just walk with me into the morning light
