Second Chance

Jumping over the moon and skimming through the stars
Zipping through the galaxy with no wings and without bars
There is nothing to stop me now flying out into space
Following my dreams is not a dream so out of place.
A second chance is not given - often some barely get a first
Its time to take stock of life - and drink it with a dry thirst.
The hours the minutes are counted, but don’t look at the clock
Get out there and follow your dreams in fact - don’t waste time taking stock
A child is born a chid dies it’s happening all around
Enjoy every second of life - while trying to keep your feet still on the ground
We were given a life, a life to live, not everyone is so fortunate
Don’t make them regret your turn - by not daring to leave your gate
Open it run and fly, the opportunities are there
Forget your coat just go for it - for those of us that dare.
