Seasons of Broken Hearts
I don't even know
how I feel about you.
Being around you is like laying in the snow
with my skin turning blue.
You've changed with the seasons
for no real reason.
As the weather grew colder,
your heart did the same.
Thinking of you is like a storm of snow
and I'm stuck under ten feet deep.
But I need to let you go
like the leaves let go of the trees.
I miss the days we spent at the beach.
I know the feeling I once had is far out of reach.
Your words are stuck in my brain.
It's like standing in the middle of a hurricane.
But now I know how I feel about you.
Your once perfect personality
died with the flowers that once bloomed.
And I finally faced reality.
