Seasons

The air comforting my skin
Walking amongst those never forgotten
A tear rolls down, for it’s sorely missed
Happiness seen a fraught the many around
I lie there wondering where it all went
But a smile returns as the leaves turn back color
The sun longer lit, as brighter days return
For tomorrow time comes back around
As it always will do
For a sweet day once missed
Returns back to new.
