Seasonal Serenade
Summer sings a song that's at an end
Autumns' beauty just around the bend
Wafts of gardens growing in the sun
Once in glory now their bounty done
Heat abates as summer turns to Fall
Now the ghosts and goblins come to call
Crisp bright air and lovely mountain hues
Changing into Winters' silver blues
Families gather 'round to feast and toast
Time to find out who can eat the most
Comes Christmas with the decorated trees
The gifts of love and goodies made to please
Old Man Winter brings snow to most places
And chills the noses of some little faces
As Winter months drag on there's hope for Spring
How sweet it is when birds begin to sing
Spirits soar and buds are poking through
Once again the cycle starts anew
