Seasonal Color

Summer Is A Wonderful Season

A warm and lovely summertime
Beneath the shade of lemon trees
I'm sipping on a chartreuse wine
As lilac blooms dance in the breeze

Scent of lavender fill the air
Diffused by warmth of saffron sun
In the bay a coral boat sail
A summer day is not yet done

Watermelon kite ride the wind
Flying high in cerulean sky
Blue clouds turn to aquamarine
As they endlessly wander by

Summer is a wonderful season
As colors burst in summer hue
Tangerine spread in the horizon
It's time to bid this day adieu

i am in the middle of writing my potential entry. I must say this take is much more down to earth and less confusing than my draft. I appreciate reading this and do fare you well in the contest as I feel you deserve a placement for this fine piece of poetry that carries a rhythm with a poetic ease and reads as if to have been naturally envisioned and jotted down with ease
