Searching For Me
Slowly charcoaled clouds cover sunny skies
Peeked playful smiles turn to tear filled eyes
No more making memories
Time sure did fly on by
I think of your legacy and what you achieved
Lived life to the fullest and in God you believed
Helping out fellow man
Not worrying what accolades you received
A man's man, a truer friend there could ever be
Courage, compassion, finally set free
When my time comes
What will they think of me
Clouds part and the sun's rays enlightening my day
I put my heart and soul on display
My gift won't go to waste
For strength, for peace and for harmony I pray
