Searching
Like a dove calling
I coo for you my lost partner
I send my words with the wind.........
Hoping they shall fall on your ears.
I sit in the highest of branches
My eyes search the landscapes for you.
Everyday since you went away
I rise with the morning sun
To sing my lonely melody.
Tree upon tree I travel the distances
Trusting I am getting closer to you
My ears listen to the wind to answer.
I sing in the rain
I sing in the sunshine
Upon the trees and on the ground.
I fly to the heights
To the distances too
I sing in search of you.
You see not my tears
You will hear them in my calling
In my pitch and tone
I cry to find you.
Listen to the wind
Hear my plea.
Like yesterday
The sun is falling again
In my solitude to my nest I retire.
The morning shall come again
When I will sing again
Singing in call of you.
