Searching

Your voice is soft like summer rain,
How it takes away my pain.
Your gentle heart beats a melody,
It sings when you’re next to me.

I’ve never known someone so grand,
Yet here we sit hand in hand.
It must have been our destiny,
I found you, and you found me.

For all the searching I have done,
In the darkness, you’re my sun.
I have laughed, danced, and cried
My heart is full of love supplied.
