Searching

I am drifting, across the waters.
I can't see, where I am near.
I am walking, on a bridge of
no return yet have no fear.
I am floating across a river
which is filled with own tears.
I'm holding on to life although
I've lost so many years.
I will ask, them when I get there,
where I am? if, I'm free?
If tomorrow, doesn't come for us
I'll whisper as, I sing.
I'll let the words flow from, my breath,
as my tears, wash out to sea.
Everytime you hear, a some what silent melody,
you'll know, I'm still out there searching,
lost between you and me.
