Seagulls Are Creatures Closer To God

Seagulls are creatures closer to God,
because they spread out their wings
and search endlessly into infinity;
nothing is forbidden to them in the wild,
they soar above the splashing waves
to surprise me with their unique ability!

Seagulls are the lucky predators,
who have agile wings to take whenever
they wish to be, but I don't have wings
and console myself to trudge the Earth forever;
I watch them astounded and confounded...
why such little voltures have no dire inside!

Seagulls are creatures closer to God,
they sense when storms are threatening...
within them is instilled that sense of warning;
and I'd like to be like them in all aspects:
to know when life turns out to be unkind,
offering only loneliness and doubts
to this susceptible,gullible mind...
how strong it'd be, if it had more faith in God!

Seagulls,I don't envy your freedom
to possess the infinite skies with pride,
but I'd like to share some of the secrets
that an earthly dweller doesn't perceive;
teach me them well as I grow in wisdom,
I will not reveal them to anyone...until I die!
