Sea View and Love's Loss
Sea View And Love's Loss
They are quivering
With beauty and strange alarm,
Wild roses in the thunder.
The great sea drowned
Those tiny footprints
On the sands
Of my lonely heart

Note: Edited version from a longer, ten verse poem written back in 1982.
This was as compact as I could make it and still keep the imagery, message, sad loss whole and felt, seen and/or appreciated by the reader.
