Sea of Love
Waves in the sea the tide is high
Passers by cannot believe their eyes
Hand in hand on their evening stroll
The splashes of water continue to roll
Tranquillity and peace is what brightens the day
A chance to unwind in a special way
Echoes of sound appear in the distance
Free of stress in this instance
Millions of thoughts appear as they walk
Sharing some words, they chatter and talk
Releasing the energy makes us feel better
Finding time for each other keeps us together
The odour of salt lingering in the air
Our hearts beat at once why this is not rare
A lifetime together and plenty more ahead
Fun love and laughter with not an ounce of dread
