Sea of Confusion
Swimming in the deep sea of confusion.
Shed your inhibitions,stake a claim.
Life as we've come to know it's an illusion.
We'll get to the shoreline just the same.
Reality is at times the way we planned.
Pretense is not what we had in mind.
Recklessly,we crawl across the sand.
We are seeking what we'll never find.
In this nether-world our dreams are cruel.
Shifting gears,we gather up each thought.
Lessons like these can't be learned in school.
Dignity is something can't be bought.
So when the waves outlast you,hang on tight.
There's bound to be a life raft drifting through.
Sometimes all we have is second sight.
Forget the revelations you once knew.
