Sea Morning

Son of the Sea Trilogy Part 1/ Sea Morning

The sea shimmers like acres of diamonds...brilliance so vast and endless
Engulfed by a tropical breeze that clings like early morning dew on the vine
White sailboats docked steadily mast all straight in a row
Seagulls circle plummet and dive until they are satisfied...
The fabled Ol' fisherman in his rumbled up lucky hat and his favorite tablecloth shirt
Cast his rod overhead vigorously and embarks another days work
Half a dozen pelicans come and perch along the pier...
Anticipating free fish here!
Children are busy making castles out of sand
Contemplating will their monuments stand
The test of time comes and goes with the tide
Seagulls circle plummet and dive...
Life's array is on display down by the sea with all its splendor
Come see!
