Sea Air

My heart feels warm, as if I've just realised the wonders that can still be found in this
world. As I gaze up to the crisp, clear blue sky, I see the sun. It shines so brightly in
the cool morning air. When I breathe, I see my breath like smoke in front of my red nose
and rosy cheeks. The clear fresh air is cool against my face but feels great as it fills
my lungs; my elixir. And as I sit on this embedded rock, my legs dangling an inch from the
sea, I look at its vastness and think of the sheer size of this world. It could make me
feel worthless and small, instead I feel honored to be a part of it.

Nice free verse/prose piece! I have been generous in my reviews of your pieces... I would appreciate reviews in return... Best wishes, Keith

I am stunned by the lack of comments on this one. A beautiful piece of prose poetry that really made me feel I was there, in fact I'm sure I have been there! Great writing Zoe. Love, Nigel
