Scrumptious

I crave for that delectable cake
that would gratify my taste and sight,

You see, I do not know how to bake
and that is the reason for my plight,

Who knew that this pandemic outbreak
would steal from me my scrumptious delight?

The pandemic caused everyone to suffer in some way. No cake can be serious. Nicely written. Thanks for your kind words and support.

This is so true; as you can see, this epidemic has deprived us of so many beautiful things; we hope the worst is over soon. Blessings and best regards

I know, this is the least of my concerns now actually, though I thought it would fit the contest:)

I had to cut my sugar level but occasionally I go berserk. Hugs.
