Screw It
To think I've been, in this soup
Probably a year
No matter how hard I write
I'm nowhere getting near
Rob I think I had it
And I'm really getting pissed
What the hell is going on
Why can't I make The List
There are a hundred poems
Wrote by just a few
It's always the same poets
There seems there's nothing new
Who's the one I have to pay
And what's the going fee
To put my poems at the top
The place they aught to be
I know, they hold back commenting
In hopes that I won't stay
Secretly between themselves
They wish I'd go away
Outside of the click, I guess
That's the way I'm being viewed
It's just not my great poetry
It's me that's being screwed
for the contest
