Screaming Shadows
The single glow from my light
Illuminates the dark tonight
Shadows dance, shadows fight
Within these shadows things do bite.
This is real, not like my dreams
Crazy yes i know it seems
From the dark i hear their screams
Running from my light that beams.
Screaming shadows now draw near
Their howling voices full of fear
And cries of terror, oh so clear
Are the only sounds tonight i hear.
I pinch myself, yes i'm awake
Can this be real, or a mistake
How many lives must i forsake
To find a life that's not a fake.
