Scream Dreams

Have you ever experienced a scream dream In which you are terrifyingly scared You attempt to scream in the dream Yet no noise is released just air! As you lay asleep in the real world You are making strange whimpering sounds The scream in the dream never materialises Before you wake and are earth bound For the first time ever a few weeks ago I actually was able to scream in my dream As my husband lay asleep on the couch In front of the t.v screen Awoken by continual blood curdling screams The loudest he had ever heard He ran into our bedroom Thinking l was being murdered Decades and decades of unleashed dream screams Were released from me in one night Leaving me feeling shattered and shaken And giving my husband the fright of his life
