Science and Faith

Poetic justice
My hands were shaking as I wrote this
If she's gold then I'm Midis
She asked me about the cuts
I said nothing maintained the silence
She doesn't approve of the late nights and self violence.
It's weird but she's the faith and I'm the science
Loved each other despite the defiance
We both had self reliance

Its a struggle what we are living in
Our pain has no medicine
Misunderstood as though we had committed a grave sin.
But that's okay I know if have you I have someone who will listen.
Always in my heart no need to ask when you been.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
